Winter Makeup Haul

After the holiday season I pooled together some gift money and gift cards and went shopping for some products I had been thinking about getting for a long time. Just as a disclaimer I don’t purchase all of these products in one trip nor do I make these posts to brag or show off, so enjoy the reviews below!

Soap and Glory- The Righteous Butter: I’ve been using the body scrub and I love it so I decided to try out the body butter and it is equally as wonderful. Unlike other body butters I really feel hydrated and there’s no sticky feeling.

Butter London- Matte Finish: I wasn’t sure how I felt about the matte finish look on nail polish so I decided just to try it out and I love the natural look and feel that really benefits my manicure.

Nars Lipstick- Afghan Red: I love this berry red color that is versatile enough for holiday looks and daytime wear.

Too Faced Vegas Nay Palette: I’ve been eyeing this palette for a long time and finally decided to pick it up. I like the pigmented colors and I can’t wait to play around with them. The only thing I dislike is that the colors seem similar to other palettes.

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette: This is another palette I have been thinking about getting and I must say I really adore the colors. I was surprised to find that the shades were very natural but also shimmery looks.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara: This was a repurchase that I made, I’ve been using Better Than Sex for over a year now mostly because of the length it provides without being cakey.

Too Faced Primed and Poreless Oil Free Primer: I started using the original formula at the beginning of summer and while I love the feel and formula I found it to be a little heavy on my skin so now I am going to try using the oil free formula.

IT Cosmetic Brushes: I’ve been using all IT Cosmetic brushes for my eyes and face so I picked up the Velvet Contouring Brush and Perfect Eye Shadow brush. These brushes really do feel like velvet, they are soft on the skin but also hold a decent amount of product.
